After the opening number, it was evident that a click track of recorded tapping was being played over the speakers. Alison Wonderland doing that bummed me out, and for the rest of the show, I tried to figure out if the singing and instrument playing were real or pre-recorded. Upon getting home, I asked Google and found out that they openly admit to using taped taps. I grasped their reasons, but still felt disappointed. Whenever they wanted to emphasize something important, they would turn up the volume on the click track--so lame! However, they cannot fake the dancing, which was excellent. 5 Stars for the dancing, 0 stars for the manipulation of the tapping. The Civic Center inexplicably restricted access to only half of their bathrooms, likely causing some people to spend the entire intermission waiting in line. The very limited concessions were crammed into the chaotic lobby. I have been in every public room in that place, and there are rooms right down the hallway off the lobby where they could have set up a sufficient concession area. Overall, a frustrating evening.
